Announcements: Friday, May 24, 2013 Day 3 Reminder – there will be no school on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume as usual on Tuesday morning. High school students – if you did not get a check-out sheet stop in the MS/HS office for one. Congratulations to the JV/V Softball teams on their wins over IMS. Please dismiss the HS Softball players at 3:00 today. The HS Baseball bus will leave at 4:00 today. High school band students: the band room will be open from 9:30 until 9:50 Monday morning. Please be at the Legion with your instruments, flip folders, and music at 10:00 ready to play! Middle school band students: all instruments must go home over the summer. Please pick them up after school today. 8th thru 11th grade boys playing summer league basketball can pick up their schedule this week. All boys’ basketball players going to NIACC need to get your forms in to Coach Squiers as soon as possible. Teachers that want a reserved seat for Graduation, please let Colleen know today. All 8th thru 11th grade girls interested in playing volleyball next year are asked to stop by Ms. Teubel’s room Tuesday right after school for an extremely brief meeting. She needs to know who is going out for volleyball next year. If you cannot attend the meeting, see Ms. Teubel before Tuesday. 8th thru 11th grade football players need to max-out by the last day of school and turn your sheets in to Coach Spears. There will be a football meeting Tuesday morning at 7:45 in the south gym. If you have open campus Tuesday morning, see Coach Spears. Make sure you bring your grade reports to the meeting. The following students need to see Ms. Rusch: Ben Brown, Morgyn Edwards, Hailey Comer, and Cheyenne Evangelista. Teachers – please make sure you turn a copy of your semester tests in to Colleen. All students need to be checking their lunch accounts. Students may not have a negative balance at the end of the school year. Middle school and high school students please remember to pay your library fines and bring any books that you may have down to the library today. Your accounts need to be taken care of before leaving for summer break. The library will be open during all lunch hours today. Applications for drivers’ education class this summer are available in the MS/HS office. The first session is full. If you are planning on taking drivers education this summer, make sure you get your application in as soon as possible. Semester tests will be Friday and Tuesday. You will have test periods 1 thru 4 on Friday and 5 thru 8 on Tuesday. Open campus for semester test days: Open campus is for high school students only. If you have a study hall during the first or last testing period on either day, you may use the open campus option. OPEN CAMPUS IS FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TESTING PERIODS ONLY! If you have a study hall during a testing period in the middle of the day, you must report to your regular study hall. **If you are using the open campus option, you must have a note from a parent ahead of time, and you must be signed up in the high school office. Phone calls will NOT be accepted. All middle school and high school PE lockers need to be cleaned out and the padlocks turned in to Colleen in the MS/HS office by Tuesday.
