School Board Candidates for the August 4th, 2026 Special Election

The election paperwork and candidate guide for the upcoming August 4, 2026 special election are linked below. Election paperwork must be filed with Auditor Office.

Due Dates: 

Friday, July 10th (5:00p): Last day that paperwork can be filed

Candidates need to obtain at least 17 signatures using ONLY the Nomination Petition form linked above. Please do not use any other form. The Auditor's office encourages candidates to obtain more than 17 signatures in case signatures are challenged and subsequently thrown out. 

For completion of the Affidavit of Candidacy:

• This is a City/School Election on 8/4/2026
• The Candidate Affiliation is BLANK
• It must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public. LTCSD District Administrative Assistant, Renae Williams, is a Notary
