Please watch the “How to videos” before setting up your account. These provide great information and are very helpful when setting up your account. 

What this means for you:

  • Parents/Guardians will need to create a Meal Magic Family Portal account to make nutrition payments and monitor student lunch balances and activity.

  • You will need your student’s ID to set up the account. Once your Family Portal account is created, you can add all of your students.

    • In order to access your student’s ID-

      • Log into PowerSchool 

      • On the left hand side, you will see “navigation”, scroll down until you see “Other information”.

      • When you click “Other information” you will see your students ID.

  • All existing balances have been transferred from Total K12 to Meal Magic and applied to the oldest student’s account.

Getting Started:

  • Visit the Meal Magic Family Portal: https://lonetreecsd.familyportal.cloud/

  • From this page you can create your account, apply for meal benefits, and access how-to videos and instructions.

  • Family Portal approval can take up to 24hrs.



Free and reduced meal applications are also posted on our website under: Parents > Nutrition > Free and Reduced.
